OUR STORY
About Us
Founded in January 2017, primium’s bv started as a consultancy and interim management company, primarily working as a freelance contractor for a large FMCG company in Ghana, managing the design and construction of new factories. The experience expanded into the construction sector in Belgium.
As the company’s expertise grew, primium’s bv became involved in the brewery sector and craft beer market, particularly focusing on developing export opportunities for African beers.
In 2019, primium’s bv began working on a business plan for Specialty Beers (SB) and became a shareholder in the project.
This marked a pivotal moment for the company as it transitioned from a consultancy to becoming the European extension of Specialty Beers, sourcing materials and inputs that suppliers were unwilling or unable to export to Ghana.
By December 2022, primium’s bv imported its first pallet of Tale Beer, marking the beginning of the operation as the exclusive importer and distributor of Tale Beer outside of Africa.
Our journey reflects a commitment to bringing authentic, premium African craft beer to global markets, fostering partnerships with breweries, and connecting them to new opportunities. What sets us apart is our deep understanding of both the African beverage market and international distribution networks, paired with our bespoke, hands-on service.
